Insulation gear pump assembly and disassembly

1. Wipe all parts to be cleaned.

2. Install mechanical seal on the motor main shaft, add a small amount of clean turbine oil or No. 20 oil on the surface of the mechanical seal moving and static ring.

3. Install the impeller and fasten it with the impeller nut.

4. Install the "0" type ring and tighten the pump body and motor end cover with bolts. Note that the gap between the front cover of the impeller and the pump body is 20 0.5 mm, and the outer ring of the impeller inlet and the pump body ensure a certain running clearance.

5. The order of disassembly is the opposite.

Insulation gear pump installation and use

1. Connect the flanges at both ends of the pump body to the pipe flange with rubber washers and bolts, that is, complete the installation. For ease of use and maintenance, a regulating valve should be installed on the inlet and outlet lines of the pump.

2. Open the inlet regulator valve to allow water to enter the pump to keep the seal chamber filled with liquid (otherwise the seal will be damaged) and close the outlet valve.

3. Turn on the power and jog to determine the correct steering.

4. After the steering is confirmed, the pump is started and operated.

5. Adjust the outlet valve opening to allow the pump to operate near the design point, depending on the rated flow and lift of the pump. [To this end, it is best to install a pressure gauge near the outlet flange). Note: This pump is strictly prohibited to run out of water to avoid damage to the seals.
