The replacement of the vacuum pump oil is not to simply discharge the vacuum pump oil and then inject new pump oil. When replacing the pump oil, it is also necessary to pay attention to the cleaning of the residual impurities inside the pump.

After the vacuum pump has been used continuously for 3-4 months, the vacuum pump oil should be replaced. In the environment with high humidity, here refers to the humidity in the pumped container. For example, in the case where the outside humidity is very large, the atmosphere is often exposed and the pumping is resumed. At this time, the humidity is relatively large. If the mechanical pump has been pumping a device that has been kept in a vacuum when the outside humidity is relatively large, it is not necessary to change the pump oil for a long time. Therefore, in the case of relatively large humidity, the oil change period should be shortened as appropriate. The replaced oil can be cleaned and dehumidified before use.

The oil change method is as follows: remove the pump from the system, connect it to the oil drain hole with a clean square plate, unscrew the oil filler plug and the oil drain plug, release the dirty oil, and start the motor intermittently 4 to 6 times to make each vacuum The oil in the small room is completely discharged. Then, add clean vacuum pump oil 200 to 300 cc from each exhaust pipe, intermittently start the motor, and clean each vacuum chamber again. In this way, after 2 to 3 times of repeated cleaning, illuminate the cleaning oil, screw the oil drain plug, and add a clean vacuum pump oil from the oil filler plug to the center of the window hole, and tighten the oil filler plug to prevent air leakage.

It is best to change the oil after the oil temperature rises. It is strictly forbidden to use kerosene, gasoline, alcohol, etc. for non-disassembly cleaning of the pump; usually pay attention to protect the air inlet, check the filter screen, prevent dust and impurities from entering the pump, contaminate the pump oil, and damage the vacuum chamber.
